About The Job

This job is a member of the Cargo Team within the Customer Experience Division. This position will be responsible for initiatives in data analytics, business intelligence and revenue analysis to improve Cargo’s performance, its profitability and its competitive position. The analyst in this role will be responsible for a variety of analytical and ad-hoc projects, as well as internal and industry analyses to understand performance, increase revenue and improve the department’s ability to operate more effectively.

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Develops and/or evaluates new performance metrics or analytical frameworks

  • Assesses revenue and pricing strategies and develop tools to support them

  • Coordinates analysis or analytical projects of medium to high complexity across multiple areas

  • Leads data or reporting related initiatives that solve for outstanding business requirements

  • Serves as liaison with corporate or external entities, in regards to BI or IT projects or initiatives

  • Oversees high-visibility deliverables for senior management and external stakeholders

  • Performs ad-hoc projects related to a particular market, market trend or customer

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Advanced skills in Excel are a plus

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong aptitude for creative problem solving and the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into concise presentations, insights, and recommendations

  • Fluency in data and BI languages and/or tools such as SQL, Python, R or Tableau

  • Candidate must display high levels of personal initiative and thrive in a team environment
