About The Job

This role is responsible for business processes and policies within the AA Customer Technology applications department.

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Elicit, analyze, and document the requirements for business processes and policies for AA Customer Technology applications.

  • Work closely with business unit, clients, project managers, developers, architects, QA testers, technology providers, vendors, and other application teams to achieve project goals.

  • Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to define project scope and business requirements, facilitate project meetings, identify project risks, develop contingency plans, and create project documentation.

  • Work as a liaison among business stakeholders to understand business problems and opportunities in the context of requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

  • Promote a collaborative working environment amongst the business and technology teams by applying Agile principles to achieve quality performance deliverables.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Must have business analysis experience on large IT development projects

  • Programming experience required

  • SQL experience required

  • Data Modeling Experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior agile methodology experience is a plus

  • Able to thoroughly analyze requirements to ensure that they meet business needs, are documented correctly, developed to match requirements, tested thoroughly, and implemented successfully

  • Able to build strong and sustainable relationships with internal and external individuals

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Advanced interpersonal skills are essential as multiple entities need to be leveraged to achieve success

  • Must possess strong aptitude for problem solving, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to concisely present work

  • Fast learner with strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail

  • Comfortable with Executive level presentations

  • Advanced Excel function programming skills

  • Ability to drive large technical end-to-end integration projects involving a variety of stakeholders

  • Good understanding of how applications are built, tested, deployed in server environments hosted in data centers

  • Knowledge on software such as SoapUI, XML, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, change management tools etc.
