About The Job

This position will be responsible for installing, supporting, maintaining IBM Data Power, IBM Integration Bus v10, Apigee, Syslog, Splunk, & Dynatrace server environments.

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Develop automation flows with UCD and SOAPUI for application deployment & testing

  • Red Hat Linux VM administration

  • Involved in solution architecture with IBM Integration Bus, Apigee, & Dynatrace

  • Use, configure, and monitor with Dynatrace, Syslog, Splunk, & Zoom data to have APM solutions that can lead to valuable network and application performance insights.

  • Dynatrace, Splunk, & Zoom data alerts and dashboard development.

  • Use automation tooling for IBM Integration Bus and IBM Data Power deployments

  • Work with different clients and service providers across the enterprise, and enterprise security and infrastructure teams in determining the integration design patterns

  • Work with managed service providers (MSPs) to plan deployments of service endpoints to remote datacenters; enterprise network teams to provision VIPs, load balancing rules/algorithms and firewall rules

  • Work with enterprise change management team to ensure all changes are registered, approved, scheduled, executed and have a rollback plan

  • Ensure standardization of systems implementation, support techniques, and adherence to formal processes, best practices, and total quality practices in all activities.

  • Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity problems or authentication/authorization with Apigee, IBM Data Power, & IBM Integration Bus v10

  • Ensure network service is available to customers which includes: backup and recovery system; hardware/software maintenance; installation/upgrade, monitoring, testing; troubleshooting and repair

  • Provide appropriate reporting and documentation to aid the understanding of the overall system and identify risks and potential problems.

  • 24/7 support responsibilities


Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT, MIS, electrical engineering technology, or related field plus 2 years of demonstrated experience in a combination of the following:

  • Apigee

  • IBM Integration Bus v10

  • IBM MQ Series V 7.0 and above

  • Implementing/using Dynatrace 7.x, Splunk 6.5x, Syslog;

  • XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, JSON, SWAGGER, CLI, ESQL, Shell scripting

  • UCD, SOAPUI, Github

  • Hadoop, Dynatrace, Splunk, Zoomdata

  • Linux and windows operating systems

  • Virtual Machines and distributed servers

  • Cloud services configuration and management

  • Implementing Enterprise security using basic auth, SSL and certificates
